MSW Sorting Plants
(Municipal Solid Waste)
Advanced technologies for transforming municipal solid waste into new resources, maximizing material recovery and process efficiency.
Process Operation
Municipal solid waste is fed into the plant and processed through a sequence of automated mechanical sorting operations.
Using screening, ballistic separation, magnetic separation, eddy current separation and optical sorting systems, the different fractions are identified and separated according to size, weight and composition.
The process enables the recovery of valuable materials, optimizing plant efficiency while reducing the amount of waste sent for disposal.
